Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival Delayed a Week Due to the Long Winter in Oregon

Flower lovers will have to wait a little longer this year because the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival in Woodburn won’t start until later. This is because winter weather is still around.

Even though the festival season has been pushed back, tickets go on sale on Wednesday, 15 March 2023, and people can look forward to activities that had to be cut back because of the pandemic.

The festival is a tradition in the Willamette Valley. It usually starts in the middle of March, when the flowers are in full bloom, but this year it will start on March 24 and go through April 30.

Tickets for the festival can only be bought online, which started with the pandemic. Season tickets and day tickets are available. Day tickets let you come and go at different times during the day.
