Trail Blazers Foundation Grants Over $100,000 To School in Oregon

PORTLAND, Ore. — The Portland Trailblazers foundation has granted over $101,000 to schools around Oregon through their ‘Take It to Court For Education program.

19 awards have been given in 11 different counties around the state.

“The Trail Blazers Foundation is very excited to distribute this year’s Take it To The Court for Education school grants,” said Annie Klug, Trail Blazers Foundation Executive Director.

“There are schools, educators, and administrators across the state working tirelessly to create much needed opportunities for students and they deserve to be celebrated. We hope our contributions help them continue to have important positive impacts.”

School representatives were invited to Moda Center Sunday, 19 March 2023, for a pre-game celebration with foundation board members and Trail Blazers employees.

Portland Trail Blazers had already shared a tweet regarding this news from their official Twitter handle on November 13, 2018. 

According to oregoncf.org, Foundation members say the grants directly support the arts, academic, and sports activities, and much more.
