Some might be surprised that printed words are still essential to many people, especially in Oregon.
The printing division of the Pamplin Media Group is Oregon’s largest printer of community newspapers.
More than 30 full-time employees run our two presses in Gresham and Prineville from the area who work almost nonstop during the week. Their hard work keeps our presses going, keeping our communities informed and involved with trusted, local news they can hold.
In addition to printing the 22 newspapers of the Pamplin Media Group, our pressrooms print many other newspapers, such as the Portland Chinese Times, the Bend Bulletin, the Redmond Spokesman, the Capital Press, and the Vernonia Voice, to name a few.
And, despite what most people think, newspapers aren’t just for older adults. In the Portland area, Pamplin Media Group prints many student newspapers. Most are for high schools and are published monthly at our Gresham facility. Our pressroom in Prineville prints student publications from all over central Oregon.

According to The Newberg Graphic, Newspapers aren’t the only thing we print. We print a lot of magazines, guides, and newsletters for a lot of different groups and city governments. At both locations, we make posters, flyers, postcards, business cards, and anything else that can be printed on paper.
We use two state-of-the-art digital presses in Gresham to print on almost any paper as quickly as possible while aiming for perfect printing. Even though many people like how fast the web is, many still enjoy reading a printed newspaper while having breakfast or sipping a cup of coffee.
The newspaper will always be one of the many ways the Pamplin Media Group gives our readers local news.
