Two groups, Oregon Recovers and the Oregon Alcohol Policy Alliance, are in charge of the people who want the tax to go up. These groups want the extra tax money to be used to cut alcohol use, which suggests that alcohol use is part of a bigger, growing problem with drug addiction and abuse.
