Early Saturday morning, March 11, 2023, the Hillsboro Police Department detained a driver suspected of driving recklessly. Around 12:30 in the morning, a worried vehicle on Highway 26 called the police to report another driver driving recklessly.
The officers made many attempts to bring the vehicle to a stop before taking off and running away at high speed. According to the police, the rates reached an estimated 120 miles per hour.

Several different services came to assist in getting the car to stop. The white Maserati was finally stopped with the assistance of the Hillsboro Police Department, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies, the Oregon State Police troopers, and the Beaverton Police officers.

According to the police, the motorist was detained and will be charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, driving recklessly, and attempting to elude a police officer.
