Oregon Man Was Arrested: According to the Jamestown Police Department, an Oregon man was detained on New Year’s Eve in Jamestown and is awaiting official charges in relation to sexual encounters he had with a minor. The Stutsman County Correctional Center is holding Sean Michael Turner, 34, of Medford, Oregon. The Jamestown Police Department said on Tuesday, Jan. 3, that it had responded to a hotel in southwest Jamestown at before 6:30 a.m. on December 31 to look into a report of a missing child.

The child was found by the police in the hotel. The inquiry, according to the agency, revealed that Turner flew from Medford to Fargo before renting a U-Haul and driving to Jamestown.

According to the police, Turner had intercourse with the child at the hotel. According to the Jamestown Police Department, an investigation revealed that over the period of several months, Turner provided the child with nude pictures and films of himself and that he also got nude pictures and videos of the child.

Turner was detained on suspicion of indecent exposure, computer or another electronic enticement of a kid, corruption or solicitation of a minor, and possession of forbidden items. The Stutsman County Correctional Center is where he is now being detained.
