Multiple Power Outages: There have been several reports of power outages originating from many different regions in western Oregon. According to EWEB, there are about 185 persons in Eugene who do not have access to electrical power at the moment; however, because of the changing weather, this figure is expected to continue to vary throughout the day.

Along Highway 126 heading in the direction of Veneta, Lane Electric reports that more than 1500 customers do not have power. Corvallis, Albany, Coos Bay, Bandon, Sutherlin, and Glide are among the locations that have reported several power outages caused by Pacific Power. The majority of electricity companies post information about outages on their own websites.

Several power outages are being reported in numerous communities throughout western Oregon. Officials say that if you spot any downed power lines, do not approach them, and report them to your power provider.
