Is Kate Brown Bisexual?

On his broadcast on Fox News on Wednesday night, Tucker Carlson ripped at Gov. Kate Brown, calling her bisexuality “confusing” and mocking her statewide outdoor mask law.

When discussing the governor’s 2015 election, Carlson asserted that voters knew little about Brown other than the fact that she was bisexual.
“Kate Brown’s sexual life was breaking boundaries. Woo-hoo, “exclaimed the Fox News host. “And yet, if you paid a little more attention, you might have noticed something odd. Kate Brown actually had a husband. Yes, he had a new last name, but he was still what TikTok refers to as “binary.” He was a dude. Of course, that’s good, but it was also a little perplexing. How does Kate Brown become a representative of the LGBTQ exclamation point community by having a groom at her wedding?”

He then criticized Brown, calling her a “dopey soccer mom who got elected because she claimed she had a girlfriend in college,” as being unqualified to handle the coronavirus outbreak.

She then delivered a more extensive message of support for others who identify as bisexual after her brief message to Carlson: “You are not the only bisexual person who finds it difficult to describe who they are and who they love to their friends and family. Do not let the bullies prevent you from being authentically you. You may even become a governor in the future.”

Brown’s outdoor mask rule went into effect on Friday in an effort to slow down the state’s uncharacteristic rise in COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations. With 3,207 additional COVID-19 cases reported on Friday, Oregon reached yet another troubling milestone. This was the state’s highest daily COVID-19 case total.

Thursday, Brown responded to Carlson’s remarks on Twitter.
