Family Says 20-Year-Old Oregon Man Shot By Cops Is In Critical Condition

Following the fight, the man who is accused of attacking a Hillsboro police officer on Friday was reportedly in critical condition on Monday after the officer who was present during the incident shot him.

According to a report, the Hillsboro Police Department said on Monday that the victim of the shooting is Jose Juan Aguilar-Mandujano, who is 20 years old.

An officer was assaulted close to the West Precinct building on Friday at about one o’clock, according to an initial statement that was released by the Hillsboro Police Department. According to statements made by witnesses to the police, the officer was assaulted close to his patrol vehicle.

There has been no public disclosure of any information on the alleged assault, including the officer’s identity or whether or not they sustained injuries.

The family of Aguilar-Mandujano stated on Monday that he had been shot by a Hillsboro police officer four times in the area of the head and once in the shoulder. He was sent to the Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland at that time.
