Kevin Feige Explains Why Young Avengers Isn’t On The MCU Phase 5 and 6 Slates

Josh Horowitz from MTV News approached Kevin Feige after Marvel Studios’ event in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con and inquired about the absence of an announcement concerning the Young Avengers. In response, Kevin Feige stated that the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) includes “great characters” that have been “introduced in Phase 4,” implying that a film starring the Young Avengers would be developed at a later point in time:

Many people have asked Feige about the Young Avengers. When asked about the possibility of assembling that team, Marvel’s head was quoted as saying, “the potential (is) unlimited” in an interview with Entertainment Weekly published in March 2021.

“Now, all of us working at Marvel Studios feel like Nick Fury at the end of Iron Man 1, as new actors and new performers come in, and we tell them that they’re part of a wider universe. ” They simply need to put in the effort required to grow their audience at this point.
