NORDIC FOLKTALES REIMAGINED β€” Classic stories from Scandinavia and beyond are presented with a new twist in the latest exhibit from Nordic Northwest, running through Sept. 25. A CELEBRATION OF HILLSBORO’S ONE-HUNDREDTH YEAR This year’s inaugural Hillsboro Juneteenth Celebration will be hosted by the Washington County Chamber of Commerce and the Black Advisory Business Council. The 17th of June is a Friday. It is a celebration of the contributions of African-American-owned companies and community leaders. The event’s presenting sponsor is Big Brothers Big Sisters NW. Hillsboro’s Jerry Willey Plaza, 943 N.E. Orenco Station Loop.

The historic vehicle event in Sherwood will take place on Saturday, June 18, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will also be food for sale, a beer garden, and a children’s area at the event. The Sherwood Chamber of Commerce is hosting the event, which is sponsored by Les Schwab and organized by the Chamber.
