Almost time for the 16th Annual Latino Cultural Festival! A new and interesting venue has been set up by the Hillsboro Hops at Ron Tonkin Field this year. We’ll have a parade, live music, food, and more to celebrate our community’s vibrant Latino culture at the stadium! All ages are welcome at the festival, which is kid-friendly.
Hillsboro primary school kids, dancers, and musicians will lead a parade to kick off the festivities. Visitors will be able to sample Latino cuisine from a range of exhibitors, as well as hear from some of the world’s most well-known performers. An art village and a futsal tournament for over 200 players are part of the event’s cultural offerings. Those who are over the age of 21 can purchase alcoholic beverages in the stadium’s authorized zones.
On Sunday, June 5, from noon to 7 p.m., there will be a Latino Cultural Festival. More than a dozen merchants are on hand, as well as a procession, activities, prizes, and music and dancing.
