After a brief pause, the Johnny Depp-Amber Heard trial continued this week. Given the amount of evidence that has not been produced, the case has been extended. May 19th, 2022, was originally scheduled to be the end date. During this week’s cross-examination of Heard, Depp’s lawyer, Camille Vasquez, accused Heard of altering her images to make it appear as if Depp had struck her.
Johnny Depp’s lawyer accused Amber Heard, seen above in court in a white shirt and black sweater, of altering her images.
Lawyer Camille Vasquez accused Amber Heard of altering images of her claimed assault in order to protect Johnny Depp, the actor’s client.
Asked on anything from why Johnny Depp refused to look at Heard in court to Heard’s own photographs of the alleged assault, Vasquez grilled The Aquaman star today during her cross-examination.
Vasquez questioned the veracity of two photos presented by Heard’s attorneys in court showing what appeared to be bruises on her face. Heard’s lawyer alleges the actor manipulated the images, but the actor has disputed the charges.

Has it not been reported that these images were digitally altered by you?” Vasquez inquired.
It’s not something I’ve done before,” Heard said.
In response to Vasquez’s question, “Didn’t you just boost the saturation from one of these photographs to make your face redder?”
No, that’s not the case at all,” said Heard. “I didn’t touch it.”

Amber Heard insisted she didn’t alter the images in any way, saying instead that she just snapped them in various lighting conditions.
During the trial, Heard testified that she had not altered any of the photographs. She claims to have taken the images in different lighting conditions, claiming to have taken one picture in the daylight and the other at night, respectively. One of the photographs showed her thinking she had a vanity mirror light on.
However, Depp’s lawyer was unconcerned by Heard’s allegations. In her cross-examination, she mentioned the police officers that visited Heard’s home the night he was accused of abusing her daughter. There was no evidence of abuse found by the cops, and they were able to back up their claim in court.
Additionally, “You sat here as Officer Zeins observed you and testified that he didn’t see any injuries on your face,” Vasquez said.
He was told, “The police indicated she didn’t consider my red puffy face harmed,” in reply. In the UK, she gave similar evidence.”
Heard says the audio recording was made as Depp was about to use drugs inside his studio. Vasquez counters, saying Depp was going to visit his daughter Lily-Rose. #JohnnyDepp #AmberHeard @LawCrimeNetwork pic.twitter.com/CyyIX5eQIY

Vasquez responded, “That’s just inconvenient for you, isn’t it Ms. Heard? “, which sparked more tension between the two. According to the second officer, on May 21, 2016, he saw no injuries on your face.
After hearing Heard’s response, “They claimed they didn’t view what they saw on my face as injuries,” Vasquez remarked, “I think we all saw, you identified yourself. It appeared to him that you were unharmed when he examined you.”
To which Heard retorted: “No, you’re wrong.”
Others, including Camille Vasquez, have stated that they noticed no signs of injury to Amber Heard’s face.
As a result, Heard’s denial of photo-editing was not helped by Depp’s apartment concierge. Depp’s doorman, Alejandro Romero, testified that he never saw Heard’s face bruised.
When Alejandro Romero testified that he didn’t see any injuries on your face on May 21st, 2016, weren’t you also in this courtroom when he made that claim?
