Hayden Christensen is back in the role of the mask-wearing masked vigilante.
After 17 years, the Darth Vader actor is returning to the role, and he discussed the significance of his homecoming with Entertainment Weekly.
According to the 40-year-old Christensen, “It was great,” but he did not go further. “Putting that suit on is a huge honor.”

“I was thrilled to have the opportunity to play Darth Vader at this point in the film’s storyline, as it felt like a logical conclusion to my development as the character. And that had a significant impact on me “he went on to say.
In the new series, Obi-Wan Kenobi will be played by Ewan McGregor. As far as he knows, Christensen isn’t the only one looking forward to resuming his role as galactic ambassador. “It was an extremely weird experience. It’s just the way it is when you return after so long away. A rare occasion that Ewan and I were glad for, to say the least “he contributed to the conversation.
Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen will reprise their roles as Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader in the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series.
When asked about the fate of his character in the future season without divulging any spoilers, Christensen revealed that he had mixed sentiments. According to him, “I don’t think they want me speaking too much” in terms of behind-the-scenes information. For me, however, the first time I saw Ewan as Obi-Wan again was a very memorable moment and one that I’ll remember forever.
Christensen will reprise his role as Darth Vader in other Star Wars projects. Disney+’s spinoff series, Ahsoka, has revealed that he will resume his role as PadmΓ© Amidala.
