Comedian Andy Dick was arrested on charges of sexual battery Wednesday at a campground in Orange County, California, according to police.
According to Sgt. Scott Steinle, a sheriff’s spokesperson, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department responded to O’Neill Regional Park around 9 a.m. after an adult male victim called authorities to report a probable sexual assault.
Steinle reported that Dick, 56, had been arrested on suspicion of felony sexual battery and that he had been charged accordingly.
When asked for more information, the sheriff’s office declined to do so.

No decision has been made by the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, spokesperson Kimberly Edds said.
At a campground area of the 4,500-acre park, which is located close to the Santa Ana Mountains, deputies found the deceased and arrested Dick, who was later charged with murder. Steinle said this.
According to jail records, Dick was being held on $25,000 bail on Wednesday. Whether or whether he had an attorney who could speak on his behalf was unknown at first. A former manager of Dick’s did not return a call seeking comment.

To make matters worse, Dick was arrested and charged with misdemeanor sexual battery after being accused of making unwanted advances at a male ride-share driver in West Hollywood in 2018.
Dick’s attorney, Daniel Kapelovitz, says the case is ready for trial and Dick has pled not guilty. According to Kapelovitz, he has not spoken to Dick about Wednesday’s incident and does not represent Dick.
