Stacey Abrams, a Georgia politician, has been cast in the upcoming Star Trek series.

Unlike any other politician before her, Stacey Abrams of Georgia took a risk.

She made a guest appearance as United Earth’s president on “Star Trek: Discovery” on Thursday.

 

When it comes to running for governor, Georgia’s Democratic Party’s nominee is a “trekkie.”

Abrams cited “Star Trek: The Next Generation” as her favorite show in a New York Times interview in 2019.
