Ms. Marvel is gearing up to bring more and well suitably named superheroes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Like Captain Marvel, who existed before her, Ms. Marvel’s heroic alias isn’t one of the most imaginative or creative ones out there. However, you shouldn’t discount her because of this not-so-creative superhero alias, as she is still part of the beautiful Marvel universe.

But we deviate over here as we know the upcoming movie is one of three confirmed MCU TV shows – Moon Knight and She-Hulk being the other two – that will launch on Disney Plus in 2022. So you might want to cram and everything about her role in the TV series before it gets released into the industry.

MS Marvel Release Date

As per updates and news releases, we know that there will be six episodes coming to Disney Plus.

Although there’s still no confirmed release date, it’s expected to be released in the summer of 2022 and tie in with The Marvels, which will not come out until February 17th, 2023.

MS Marvel Cast

Ms. Marvel presents a striking cast of characters from different ethnicities who play fantastic roles. A few of them are listed below:

  • Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan
  • Matt Lintz, who plays Bruno Carrelli
  • Yasmeen Fletcher as Nakia
  • Rish Shah in the role of Kamran
  • Zenobia Shroff as Muneeba Khan
  • Lauren Marsden as Zoe Zimmer

Kamala Khan, a 16-year-old Pakistani-American from Jersey City, is a character that many Marvel fans of both movies and the comics can identify with simultaneously.

It is another of Marvel’s new TV shows slated for a 2022 release. She is an aspiring artist who deeply loves video games and writes fan fiction stories.

Most importantly, Kamala is a massive fan of the Avengers, especially Captain Marvel, who is her favourite.

In the comics, Kamala was the fourth character who had a chance to take on the role, with the first being Carol Danvers herself, aka Captain Marvel, in the MCU.

In her comic book series, Kamala discovers she has a unique shapeshifting power, and she takes on the role of superhero to emulate her hero, Danvers.

Iman Vellani will enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Kamala Khan.

In the MCU, it’s known that she will play a vital role in the upcoming film, The Marvels, where she is expected to team up with Captain Marvel, her favourite.
