Actress and presenter Carolina has just entered the world of entrepreneurship alongside her daughter, mathematician and economist Valentina Cohen, with the launch of by Carolina a brand of home and lifestyle products this Monday (6th).
With this undertaking, Carolina, known for her versatility, innovates once again by expanding her way of operating in the Brazilian market. The project was conceived and developed from scratch alongside Valentina.
“It’s a completely new area for me, and I’m loving every moment. There are new challenges, new learnings and a very strong desire to deliver my best, always. This brand was created to be close to consumers, especially inside the home, in the kitchen and in the family – combinations that I love”, says Carolina.
The partnership between mother and daughter symbolizes the connection between generations. Each one with its history, experience and way of looking at the world, they saw the opportunity to innovate in the market and leverage forces to create a versatile, 100% Brazilian and responsible brand.
For Valentina, executive director of Cimples, the launch celebrates a very special moment. “It is very gratifying to launch a new business, especially with my mother, a person I admire a lot”, he celebrates.
“We managed to unite our points of view, our ideas and, with creativity and quality, we created a very complete brand, which will bring several product lines and segments that serve the home market”, he adds.
According to the duo, the brand seeks to transform homes into even more affective, warm and colorful environments, in addition to inspiring other families – friends, couples or colleagues – to celebrate moments of togetherness in a light and happy way.
The project promises to bring exclusive products to the public, with a modern and welcoming style, combining elegance and simplicity in collections of crockery, boards, spices and clothes to use at home. All items bearing the brand’s signature were created, designed and developed by Carolina in partnership with the best manufacturers on the market.
The brand’s first launch, on December 14th, will be two crockery collections inspired by 19th century Russian pieces, the result of a partnership with the Westwing home goods store.
